Anne Curtis reprises Lee Da Hae‘s role as the female lead in the Philippines’ version of the Korean soap Green Rose. I haven’t seen any episode of it yet, so I’m wondering: how the hell did they explain the existence of a “green” rose this time? Did they find some way to correlate that to Anne’s cleavage mole, somehow?
Lee Da Hae, star of the original series, who has since tried her hand doing other stuff (rock star, snow ambassador) that unfortunately all ended up in a steaming pile of shite.
My GirlLee Da Hae endlessly fascinates me. Remember when she was also in that earlier TV soap called Green Rose, which I didn’t really care about except that was the first time I saw Lee Da Hae and she sort of made my balls tingle with her sweetness there. Now she’s doing some sort of career shift to music. At the recent MK Music Fest in Korea, she emceed and also performed her first single “I love rock and roll.” I mentioned it some weeks ago. Frankly, the performance was pathetic, but I’ll watch this spectacle any time.
I wonder when she’s going to do her own version of the very popular religious song called, “Spank me as I stuff your mouth with my underwear.” I’m sure it’s gonna be fucking great.
Above: (in singsong) “hey, i, want to, want to, sit on, yer face yeah! and i’ll let you, let you, eat your kimchi! on my bell-ly! yeah!
Above: Da Hae: “Now, let me present to you, as a prelude to my amazing song, a live specimen of the smelly, ill-tempered… Korean Sasquatch!”
Above: “Yeah, it’s God ! It’s God! Who! Gave! Me! This motherfucking! Talent, yeah!”
The usually sweetish Lee Da Hae (My Girl, Green Rose) appears in an ad for the upcoming MK Music Festival 2007 (Nov. 17), whose video you can see above. She’s belting out “I love rock and roll” and almost giving me a hard-on-induced heart attack when she takes off that jacket. Basically, here’s a really nice eye candy. Fans of Lee Da Hae know that she usually doesn’t go the hot rock chick way, so this is a nice surprise.
And because we all love gawking, enjoy these sexy Lee Da Hae pictures below, taken from the same ad.
Finally, after months of almost complete absence from this blog’s radar, Lee Da-hae (star of My Girl, Green Rose) turned up and where in the world do you think she was? In Thailand, as a guest in something called Korea Sparkling 2007 Fun Ski & Snow Festival. Whatever the hell that is.
Wait, Thailand has a “fun ski and snow festival?”
Is somebody trying to yank our balls? Because the last time I looked, Thailand was still a tropical country.
Maybe even Da-hae knows how ridiculous this was, because look. The girl’s bored out of her skull. It looks like she’d rather be somewhere else. Like in my bed or something.
Above: “I’m so happy this crap is almost over! Ha ha ha ha!”
Above: “I’d like to apologize for this stupid, over-bearing cultural campaign of the Korean government. I know celebrating ski and snow in such a nice tropical country such as Thailand is stupid, but I’m just a hot Korean star, so please have pity of me.”
Above: Now I’m going to sing the song, “Let it snow!”
I wonder why, after last year’s very entertaining TV series My Girl, you don’t see Lee Da Hae anywhere anymore. Nobody talks about her, and so far, no recent work featuring her has entered my hallyu radar. So what gives? too bad because Da Hae I think is among the loveliest, most refreshing Korean beauty around.
South Korean actress Lee Da Hae (star of the incredibly sappy Green Rose and the delightfully funny My Girl) is currently working on a big project whose details we can’t say right now, except that it will make full use of Lee Da Hae’s unbelievably pretty face. I hope they don’t make another of that Green Rose, as I’m still retching over its corny plot and how they explained why in hell there’s a “green rose?” Don’t bother asking me; I’ve just had my lunch and I don’t wanna lose it.
