Korean pop sensation BoA is among the South Korean pop icons to perform on May 5 at the Hollywood Bowl.
Korean TV Channel, MBC, is celebrating its entrance into the US market. Home to the famous music show, “Music Camp,” in which BoA performed several songs, MBC will be having a concert to commemorate their entrance. Named “I Love Korea,” the concert will invite Korea’s top singers including BoA, Epik High, Super Junior, Seo Ji Young, Eru, Ivy, totaling 16 stars. Brian Joo of Fly to the Sky and Eugene will be the MCs due to their native English skills. Korean American ski athlete Toby Dawson, winner of the bronze medal for the ski freestyle race in the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, will be participating as well as he became a Korean national hero after this great feat. MBC announced that BoA is planning on revealing and performing a song from her 6th Korean album. Organized by MBC America and MTV, the “I Love Korea” concert will be held as part of the annual LA Hollywood Bowl, on May 5th.
