In a recent interview, Eurasian star Maggie Q gushed to reporters her desire to follow Maggie Cheung‘s path. You know, the DVD of the latest Die Hard installment is out, and so the stars are talking to promote it. And when it was Maggie Q’s turn, she just couldn’t stop saying Maggie Cheung this, Maggie Cheung that. It was almost like she keeps a Maggie Cheung shrine in her house and stick pins on Maggie Cheung’s pictures. I’m not sure, but I can imagine.

If you’ve watched any of the last two Harry Potter films (I haven’t. How can I? That’s a movie where everybody uses such small girly wands), Katie Leung is Cho Chang, the Asian love interest of that dude named Harry. Katie was recently seen at the Moet Mirage event during the London Fashion Week. As you can see, Katie may not be carrying her requisite wand, but I’m pretty sure that nice purse in her hand contains Harry’s dried foreskin — you know, for the emergency Biggus Dickus spell.

Three Asian beauties — mainland actress Li Xiaoran, Taiwan model and TV host Pace Wu and Hong Kong veteran actress Angie Chiu — posed nude (or at least, that’s what they look like) in promotional photos for a health magazine for the “Pink Ribbon” movement. The Pink Ribbon is some sort of an international movement for breast cancer awareness. And I think it works, although I’m more aware now of breasts than cancer.

Here are Maggie Q’s much talked about posters (the one below is so huge, you can print it and paste it on your wall!) for PETA — you know, that wonderful animal-loving organization whose mission is to make celebrities take off their clothes. You’ve recently seen Maggie in the latest sequel of Bruce Willis Die Hard. She died horribly there, but still.

Hong Kong superstar and eternal beauty Maggie Cheung turned 43 last Sept. 20, but she doesn’t even look it. I loved her more in Wong Kar Wai’s films (In The Mood For Love, 2046) than in any other movies she ever did. And if you’re using Olay beauty products (which I religiously slather on my butt cheeks to keep them shiny and nice), she’s an image model of that, too.

Veteran Hong Kong pop singer and actress Gigi Leung held a concert recently at the Shanghai Grand Stage, where she sang some of her old hits and starkly, she seems to have shed off her old girl-next-door persona. I think she’s been watching too many Lee Hyori or Son Dambi performances lately that she realized, hey, the fuck-me look is good, I can do that.

Hong Kong babe Kelly Chen was in Beijing recently to promote her new film, The Kingdom and the Beauty. Mind you, this new movie’s directed by the great Siu-Tung Ching, the martial art choreographer who worked with Zhang Yimou in House of Flying Daggers and Curse of Golden Flowers. So expect it to be fantastic.
