Carla Abellana, daughter of 1980s National Treasure Rey PJ Abellana and a fairly hard-working (although naive) commercial model from some years back, recently held a presscon to announce how she’ll eventually rule this kingdom called “Philippine showbiz” via the Regal Films route and basically as a “classier”, non-violent cyborg option to Marian Rivera.
If you can remember (especially if you eat sanitary pads for breakfast), Carla used to appear in various teen-y ads and magazine covers, which — it turned out — to have been unwittingly pro bono. Now she’s a “Regal baby” — a term as quaint as saying “That’s entertainment!” in 2009.

Meanwhile, the cute photo above of a teener Carla makes us ask this important question: Shall we expect to see fake, bigger boobs this time, like those of Cherry Kubota’s and basically almost everybody else?
