2008: The Year Of Sex And Nude Scandals That Made A Difference In Our Lives

The past year also gave us “visuals” of the exciting sex things performed by some careless celebrities. Although one right now can only hope that fast-rising Casanova Hayden Kho would eventually follow Edison Chen’s highly respected footsteps, here’s a convenient list of shit that actually happened:
- Edison Chen Sex Video and Pictures Scandal: Sometime in February, the interwebz was a-flooded with nude and sex pictures of Edison Chen boning different celebrities, like Cecilia Cheung (star of Failan) and Gillian Chung (of the Hong Kong pop duo Twins). Apparently, like a true red-blooded normal dude, Edison’s idea of excitement is “fuck girls before some form of recording device.” For those who don’t really know Edison Chen, he starred in many different Hong Kong and international films, such as Infernal Affairs. In 2006, Martin Scorsese “corrected” and adapted Infernal Affairs and turned it into the Oscar-winning The Departed that starred Jack Nicholson and Leo Di Caprio. Because of the sex pics and videos, Edison lost many gigs: his little scene in The Dark Knight was removed and he lost a number of product endorsements. But last I heard, he’s endorsing a brand of spy camera (”Record Those Sex Videos In High Quality!”) and edible underwear (”You fuck ‘em, you eat ‘em!”) and is in the process of eating a bag of dicks.
Cecilia Cheung
- Cecilia Cheung sex pictures: one of the girls embroiled in Edison Chen’s shitstorm, Cecilia first came in my radar after I saw that film Failan, in which she played the sort of virginal character who might run away at the sight of a huge penis. In real life, however, as the sex pictures showed, Cecilia’s actually a wonderful cocksucker (and I mean “cocksucker” as a compliment) who would not think twice when asked questions related to deep-throating. Funny thing, while the sex pic scandal still raged, Cecilia was silly enough to actually endorse a vaginal wash. The interwebz almost died giggling over that.
Gillian Chung
- Gillian Chung sex pictures: Gillian was the cuter half of Twins, and I love her because, hey, just look at her. According to tabloid gossip at the time, Gillian agreed to have her sex photos taken by Edison because “she was naive” to actually think Edison loved her (boys, this is a shining lesson in boning right here! Try it! It’s new!). In the aftermath, Gillian was removed from the Olympics roster, suffered physically and psychologically, and was reduced to holding balls-ticles at sporting events. Sometimes she still acts.
Ira Eigenmann
- Ira Eigenmann Nude Pics Scandal: In March, just after Holy Week, something “deliciously unholy” arrived in my inbox: nude pictures of Ira Eigenmann, daughter of prolific 1980s sex machine Mark Gil. The sender, who called himself “Joxbido,” said the pictures were supposedly emailed by Ira to her boyfriend in the US, so that the boyfriend could jerk off conveniently at his leisure. The photos inspired debate regarding authenticity, making instant photoshop experts out of normal interweb trolls. However, Ira’s brother, Gabby, would later “unwittingly admit” the photos were indeed the real deal. How nice of him!
Wei Tang in 'Lust, Caution'
- Wei Tang’s Lust, Caution: This shouldn’t have been a controversy, except it was made into one by vagina-hating Chinese bureacrats. Wei Tang’s performance in Ang Lee’s film Lust, Caution [full download here], in which Wei has awkward sex and flashed her hairy pits, was considered by China’s government as a direct threat both to national security and chastity belts (that were still so fashionable in China. Ask around!), and hence went on banning her from the mainland. Wei eventually shot back by taking advantage of some little legal loophole.
Criselda Volks
- Criselda Volks sex/anal video scandal: In October, Criselda Volks surprised local wankers with the freely downloadable video of her getting fucked in the ass by some older dude with a penis that looked like a dead sea anemone. Heartbreaking, but there was Criselda’s twat, so it was exciting and people were still able to sleep at night with a satisfied smile on their faces.
