Jackie Chan Hard-selling Crystal Liu’s Hollywood-worthy Acting Skills Is Getting Creepy

Well, Jackie Chan’s words really don’t die easily. Remember when last year he was enthusiastically telling reporters how Liu Yifei (Crystal Liu) was so goddamn amazing? It is being brought up again in Hong Kong media in the light of Forbidden Kingdom’s upcoming premiere on March 18.
It somehow makes you ask the important Shakespearean question: “Did blowjob-money change hands?”
Well, maybe not really. Liu Yifei is indeed incredibly pretty and by all hints, has what it takes to make it big. She comes from a dancing background (which she used very well in the fight scenes), continuously improves her acting skills (which wasn’t yet apparent in Return of the Condor Heroes but maybe seen in Forbidden Kingdom), and fluently speaks English and Japanese, boding very well for her future as an international Chinese star succeeding (in Jackie’s words) Gong Li.
What’s more, she has recently signed up with a Hollywood management company.
