I know what you’re thinking — there’s no way Thalia Sodi, the original Marimar, could be Asian! But sorry, folks, I just gotta post this in the context of the current Marimar adaptation of GMA-7 in the Philippines. First, once again i’m reminded of how freaking hot Thalia has always been. Second, I fucking hate this old fart here who happens to be his husband. Tommy Mottola, if anybody remembers, was the husband of Mariah Carey. He was a bigshot CEO and high-flying exec at Sony and is one of the world’s most influential music producers, so you can imagine how big his balls are that he actually snagged Thalia, who was just one Mexican artist trying to make a shot at Hollywood. Anyway. Gotta say the woman’s glowing.
