Lee Young-ae Glumly Receives An Award

I’m not entirely sure about the whole context these photos were taken and why the usually breathtaking Lee Young-ae (Janggeum) appears glum here, but what in know is she received an award, something called the Cultre Medal, for her tremendous part in popularizing Korean pop culture. She strongly reminds me of Filipina actress Marian Rivera. I think when Marian matures, she’d look like Young-ae.
