CCTV thoroughly analyzes the unique beauties of 10 of the top Chinese female stars. It’s just weird: one line, the write-up’s praising you, the next, it’s saying you look like a horse. As in this Huang Shengyi profile (pictured):
Huang Shengyi has a horse face, and big nose. When she smiles, she is fatally attractive.
Or of Zhao Wei:
Zhao Wei’s eyes are really beautiful. So you always worry if her contact lens will fall out of her eyes. But her face is not delicate enough. She has a big mouth, a big nose and a big face. Her teeth are not very white.

LOL! I believe the write-up was lost in translation. Cecilia Cheung’s description: “Zhang Baizhi’s face is perfect too, but her voice is terrible, just like a weight lifter. ”
Here’s my fave : “Xu Xidi, nickname Small S, just pretty, not beautiful. Small eyes, thin lips, but a TV show hostess like her needs intelligence rather than beauty. “
